When computerized home sewing machines came out, I just had to have one. I eventually got my start with one of these machines that featured an embroidery component as well as sewing. As I began wearing items that I had decorated with embroidery, people would compliment my clothing and ask me, "Can you put my business name on shirts?" After hearing this numerous times, I researched starting an embroidery business. I soon realized that commercial equipment would be necessary to be effective and after about 6 months of research I purchased my first embroidery machine.
This was in 1998. I continue to research the industry for the latest developments and the hottest techniques. Every day I get to help someone make a lasting memory, create a practical joke gift, commemorate a family reunion, or get their clothes talking for a charitable cause. The smiles my clients share with me for seeing their ideas come to life make me love what I do.
